Community Mobiliser

The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for working at community level to support the correct implementation of the project activities. The Community Mobilizer will be primarily field based ( in Tripoli ), and will work closely with the Social worker and the other project staff. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and monitor ongoing project activities in collaboration and under the supervision of the Project Manager;
• Design and implement outreach initiatives within target communities;
• Support in the selection of the project beneficiaries (Youth and SMEs);
• Ensure the active involvement of target communities with a participatory approach;
• Support in the training sessions;
• Mobilize and network with the partners and the key stakeholders for the implementation of the project activities;
• Monitor the activities implemented;
• Data collection and reporting;
• Be the focal point and responsible for the implementation of MEAL procedure for the monitoring and evaluation of the project activities;
• Report to the Project Manager on the status of implementation of the activities;
• Maintain a high level of collaboration and coordination with all project staff;

Knowledge and Experience:

•  A minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of humaniterian sector;
• Proven previous experience in community development and mobilization;
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure and against deadlines;
• Knowledge of NGO procedures;
• Computer literate: Microsoft Word and Excel.

25 points if the trainer has 25% of the following :

1/Experience in CM works,

2/Experience with Lebrelief.

3/lives in the targeted regions.
