About the centre

The Centre for Social Sciences Research & Action (CeSSRA) is a multidisciplinary space creating synergies and bridging between the scientific, practitioner, and policy spheres. The centre aims to foster social change through innovative uses of social science, digital technologies, and publication and exchange of knowledge.

Main tasks: 

- Provide coordination and effective management to the centre's projects on social justice, to achieve the greatest impact possible;

- Follow up of projects activities to achieve projects’ deliverables;

- Ensure projects’ teams and counterparts are continuously involved, consulted, and informed of ongoing progress;

- Draft of reports, work plans, budgets, disbursement, procurement, recruitment and monitoring plans as well as necessary updates;

- Prepare internal and donor reports;

- Ensure implementation is in compliance with the centre’s internal policies as well as donors’ policies and procedures.

- Maintain a filing system for all projects related documentations;

- Perform other project follow up tasks as required.
 

Qualifications: 

- MA degree or higher qualifications in non-profit/ project management, social sciences, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

- Ability to complete tasks on time.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently, coordinate, and plan with relevant team members

- Fluency in English, and Arabic are minimum requirements. Knowledge of French is highly desirable

- Ability to give and receive feedback constructively

- Capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
