Social Worker

Responsibilities:

• Provide GBV and PSEA awareness sessions to women and girls receiving dignity kits in Akkar area and PFA Support in Organizing and facilitating meeting with stakeholders to reach the accurate participants.
• Search for community members, and target groups, use their PR to collaborate with local organizations to ensure effective communication and coordination to reach the targeted participants in projects’ activities.
• Collect feedback and insights from participants during the session.
• Safety check-up.
• Case referral when it is needed. 

Deliverables:

• Weekly work-plan.
• Weekly report summarizing the achievements.
• Monthly written report summarizing the implementation of the sessions, activities, outcomes, challenges and success stories.
• Documentation of community feedback and engagement insights.
• Any other deliverables as specified by the project manager or head of programs at RDFL

Reporting and Supervision: The social worker will report to the Project Coordinator and collaborate closely with the project team.

Requirements:

A University degree in social sciences, guidance and counselling or relevant fields.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with vulnerable communities

Professional training in Gender-based violence.

Experience in protection interventions in line with Refugees operation

Experience working with Non‐Governmental organizations.

Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)

Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness.

Computer skills.

Good self-organization and good management skills.
