Responsibilities:

  • The case worker responsible for conducting FPSS activity for Women and Adolescent’s Girls at RDFL Douris Center and in the schools in Baalback area when needed.
  • The case worker is responsible for conducting 6 sessions * 8 groups over 10 months.
  • The candidate will report directly to the project manager.
  • Submit a monthly report for the project Manager.
  • Ensure cases harmed or at risk of being harmed are identified and receive FPSS support by conducting documentation, assessments, action plans, direct service provision, referrals and follow ups for an assigned case load.
  • Make recommendations to ensure spaces are made safe and appropriate for FPSS Groups
  • Monitor and follow up the outcome of the assistance provided.
  • Advocate with different institutions and services providers to help beneficiaries to access needed resources and services.
  • Manage, fill, archive specific forms for cases profiling, referral and monthly reporting ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act always according to guiding principles of GBV case management including: a survivor centered approach, ensuring confidentiality, prioritization according to safety concerns, anti-discriminatory practice.
  • Ensure accountability respecting professional boundaries and avoiding conflicts of interest.
  •  Accomplish any other assignments allocated by line managers.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree in Clinical Psychology or any relevant fields.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with vulnerable communities
  • Professional training in Gender-based violence.
  • Experience in protection interventions in line with Refugees operation
  • Experience working with Non‐Governmental organizations.
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness
  • Computer skills
  • Good self-organization and good management skills.
