1. Position Title: Crochet Trainer 

2. Objective of the Assignment 

Teaching participants how to craft crochet wallets and guiding them through sewing principles to ensure high-quality production.  

3. Scope of Work 

The Crochet Trainer will be requested to: 

Develop and implement a structured training plan for crochet wallet production. 

Teach various crochet techniques and stitches necessary for wallet making. 

Instruct trainees on basic sewing principles and finishing techniques. 

Assess trainees’ progress and provide individualized support as needed. 

Encourage creativity and innovation among participants. 

Address challenges faced by trainees and provide guidance to enhance their learning experience. 

Ensure the use of appropriate materials and tools for effective learning. 

4. Deliverables: 

A well-structured training program for crochet wallet production. 

Hands-on sessions with trainees, ensuring skill acquisition and improvement. 

Progress reports on trainees' development and recommendations for improvement. 

5. Qualifications and Experience 

The ideal candidate should have: 

Proven experience and expertise in crochet, specifically in crafting wallets. 

Strong knowledge of sewing techniques and principles. 

Previous experience in training or teaching crochet skills is preferred. 

Understanding of women's issues and ability to create a supportive environment. 

Excellent communication and mentorship skills. 

Ability to work with diverse groups and adapt training methods to different learning needs. 

6. Reporting Line: 

The trainer will report to the project manager or designated focal person. 

7. Duration & Location:  

The trainer will conduct 4 sessions per month for 3 months, for a group of 10 women and girls starting from April, 2025
