Advocacy Trainer

Objective:

This training seeks to equip participants with in-depth knowledge of advocacy and effectively convey related concepts.

Scope of Work:

The training will be provided to staff from various departments and local NGOs. It is scheduled for two days in April 2024 at LD offices in Akkar.

Content and Methodology:

The trainer will cover the following topics:

1. Advocacy strategies and tactics.

2. Effective communication skills, including public speaking and storytelling.

3. Messaging and branding for advocacy.

4. Networking and relationship building.

5. Media relations and social media advocacy.

6. Community organizing and mobilization.

7. Lobbying and policy advocacy.

8. Civil disobedience and protest tactics.

Trainer Qualifications:

The selected trainer must possess a deep understanding of Advocacy and a background in protection mainstreaming.

Deliverables:

The trainer is expected to provide comprehensive training materials, a detailed curriculum outline, participant manuals, assessment tools, and a training report. Administrative documents such as participant attendance records and Pre-post tests are also required.
