Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to promote LECORVAW’s programs and campaigns.
- Evaluate and adapt communication approaches to maximize outreach and impact.
- Content Creation:
- Prepare newsletters, reports, and other communication materials that reflect LECORVAW’s mission.
- Create high-quality multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics.
- Develop storytelling campaigns to highlight beneficiaries’ experiences and organizational achievements.
- Media Relations:
- Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers to increase visibility.
- Coordinate press conferences, interviews, and media coverage of LECORVAW events and initiatives.
- Digital and Social Media Management:
- Manage LECORVAW’s social media platforms, ensuring regular, engaging, and relevant content.
- Monitor digital analytics to assess campaign performance and audience engagement.
- Advocacy Support:
- Collaborate with program teams to design advocacy campaigns that raise awareness about gender-based violence and women’s rights.
- Develop communication materials for workshops, trainings, and public events.
- Event Support:
- Provide communication and media support for public events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Document and archive key moments through photos, videos, and media clippings.
- Other Duties:
- Stay informed about emerging trends in communication and advocacy.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in communication, media, or advocacy roles, preferably with NGOs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English (French is a plus).
- Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital analytics tools.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshope, Adobe Premiere, Adobe illustrations ) and video editing is an asset.
- Knowledge of gender-based violence issues and advocacy approaches is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
