APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINE:

"Tashغeel - My First Experience" project intends to provide university students, who already graduated or are near graduation, with technical and digital business skills in three tracks related to Software development (two tracks) and research/administrative work (one track). Following the training, talented trainees will do a 3-month internship under the supervision of a mentor appointed by LASeR to follow up on interns and thus help them in achieving the goals of the internship.

"Tashغeel - My First Experience" has been set up to be a successful first experience that provides beneficiaries access to the labor market through high skills training and matching with employers through an established network of companies and institutions willing to support them and provide them with paid internships and jobs.

"Tashغeel - My First Experience" project is co-implemented by LASeR and Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The project coordinator will be working closely with the "Tashغeel - My First Experience" Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for the project. In particular, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
• Help in the supervision and implementation of the project
• Assist in the preparation, communication, and running of the events during the project
• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
• Ensure project deadlines are met
• Determine project changes
• Provide administrative support as needed
• Undertake project tasks as required
• Develop project strategies
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and that all documentation is maintained appropriately
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed toward the best solution
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:
• Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
• Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
• An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
• Computer proficiency
• Working knowledge of project management software
• Professional certification such as PMP is a plus
