Under the USAID Lebanon Investment in Quality (LINQ) project, Land O’Lakes Venture37 will increase the competitiveness of value-added agribusinesses. This position executes the Project’s public and industry stakeholder outreach, communications, and USAID marking and branding activities. The incumbent prepares written stories, communication pieces, and social media posts featuring the successes and learnings about LINQ to document and promote the impact of the Project’s activities and the outcomes of the generous support of the American people. The communications pieces will be used by USAID and Venture37, and will be distributed to a variety of outlets including media and targeted, stakeholder-focused events, especially under Component 3, Communicate Results through Outreach and Share Project Knowledge with the Public and Private Sectors and to support the Communicate, Learn, and Adapt activities and performance indicators. The incumbent will make extensive use of written materials, photos, graphics, and other visual story-telling techniques while integrating technical content and data from the MEL system.

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Assis the MEL Manager to design compelling success stories, general communications, and outreach material in the form of reports, briefs, infographics, data visualizations, presentations, multi-media pieces, and social media content based on data and findings gathered by MEL.  Material will be used in print as well as online publications and social media. 
  • Participate in interviewing project partners, beneficiaries, stakeholders, staff, and volunteer and other consultants to create and develop stories, partner profiles, and briefs and updates about activities as part of “telling the story of LINQ”. The material will be prepared for Venture37 and USAID websites, social media, and publications.
  • Support, use, and manage a MS Sharepoint software to organize and store communication materials, tools, documents, stories, and work plans.
  • Contribute to the development and writing of  clear and concise case studies, success stories, repots and publications for USAID, Venture37, local organizations, and private and public-sector partners.
  • Support event planning and training facilitation for stakeholders and project team.
  • Contribute to developing scopes of work and content for short videos showcasing project impacts and activities; oversee contracted videographers and photographers.
  • Support the implementation of  the project Marking and Branding, CLA, and Outreach Plans.
  • Prepare or draft weekly updates for USAID, monthly 3Ps submissions for Venture37, draft quarterly and annual reports to USAID, develop and present story ideas, and coordinate and collaborate with USAID and US Embassy communication representatives and the Venture37 communications team.
