Responded to the Syrian crisis after the flow of Syrian refugees to Lebanon. Since 2011 up to date, IRL has been supporting people affected by the conflict in Syria including Syrian refugees,
Lebanese returnees and Palestinian refugees.
Project’s context:
Through this project, Islamic Relief Lebanon Office (IRL), with a generous fund from IR USA, works to establish part of two medical units at Medrar Medical Centre (MMC) - a welfare project grouping together various medical and social facilities in a serene, green, sustainable and environmentally friendly development- located in the village of Choukine - South Lebanon (60 Km south of Beirut, 4 Km south of Nabatiyeh).
MMC is a distinguished and unique project in terms of high-quality design, includes a Hospital and Recreational & Cultural centre, it was initiated in 2013 and planned to be operational in 2020.
MMC needs dire support from notable INGOs such as Islamic Relief. Therefore, IRL seeks to equip part of maternal and child unit in MMC represented by Delivery/Nursery according to the available fund
Requirements:
Islamic relief Lebanon desires to purchase equipment requested for establishment of two medical units at Medrar Medical Center/ South Lebanon (maternal and child unit).
