Job Title      : Information Management Support

Reports to          : MEAL/Reporting Officer & Project Manager

Duty Station       : North and Akkar governorates

Position Type     : Full Time

 

 

Job Purpose:

 

Supports thoroughly the Information Management unit of the all the base projects in the constant availability of updated project linked data (PM/LA, CM, CS, OV), their correct entry into external and internal data bases, their maintenance and analysis with support of the project managers/officers and MEAL manager/officers.

 

 

Generic Duties:

 

  1. Assists the MEAL/Reporting Officer in the preparation and revision of data and M&E reports related to field activities donor reports and other ad hoc reports.
  2. Works for finalizing the weekly, monthly and quarterly report of all implemented activities.
  3. Further to proper check-ups enters on daily base all data into external (Donors & partner) and internal (INTERSOS) data bases.
  4. Assist in Enhancing online reporting dashboards
  5. Assist the project Officers/assistant in preparing the monthly reports;in using new databases, new forms for the different sub-sectors to the project.
  6. Responsible for storing, categorising and maintaining databases.
  7. Enter and and assist in in data analyze for implementation and MEAL activities as well as help with reporting.
  8.  Assist MEAL/Reporting officer in Checking, cleaning and verifing data quality and accurate reporting from the field level to the Data Unit focusing on clarity, accuracy, consistency and reliability.
  9. Monitor the accuracy of collected data.
  10. Support the Reporting department in cloud-based IT tool development (i.e.: Case Management platform and the development of the referral platform) INTERSOS Google Drive
  11. Assist in the generation of the final reporting of the project via post implementation analysis
  12. Assist MEAL officer/assistant in M&E field activities if needed
  13. Assit in generating tools for program and MEAL
  14. Prepare  Data, tools and initial data analysis requested by M&E team ( Officers/assistant/Manager).
  15. May be asked to perform other related duties as identified by his supervisor or the head of base

Other tasks:

  1. Conduct training for program team if needed for using new tools or databases and keep them up to date for any changes

 

 

Education:

 

  • University degree in Information Technology, Statistics, or related field.

 

Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

 

Professional Competencies:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • MS proficiency (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Reporting skills.
  • Good level of numeracy.
  • Preferable to Have good command of at least one major database technology, (for example: Access, Excel), in and general knowledge of database management and statistic tool
