Attacks on health care in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory (11-24 December 2024)
Insecurity Insight identified 2114 incidents of violence against or obstruction of access to health care in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory between 07 October 2023 and 12 December 2024. In the Gaza Strip, where 1639 incidents were recorded, health facilities were damaged 295 times and 584 health workers killed. At least 359 incidents were reported in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. In these incidents, 93 health workers were arrested or detained by Israeli forces and 11 killed. Health facilities were raided by Israeli forces on at least 23 occasions.
