Activity 1: Identify Career Options During this activity, students are introduced to the job market and the different careers and industries they can work in. Students also learn how to assess their skills and career preferences to help them make informed choices. Activity 2: What do I want to Become? After reviewing their options, students choose the three career options that they like best. Students are encouraged to research their choices to learn more about them. Activity 3: Job Shadow Day Each student spends a full school day with a mentor from the profession of his or her choice. They have the opportunity to observe the everyday activates of their mentors learning what skills are required for the specific positions and relating these skills to subjects thought in school.
