Digital Designer and Content Creator

We're looking for a Digital Designer & Content Creator! As a cool youth organization, we seek an ambitious and young-spirited candidate who wants to flex their design skills and impress us with their creative writing talent. 

P.S: This is a Junior level position and for a short term only (renewable on a monthly basis). You can still be studying at university or be a fresh graduate while looking for a summer job or paid internship.

We need someone with a strong eye for design and someone eager to raise the bar on each and every project. As a Digital Designer & Content Creator, you are all over social media capturing and creating engaging content. You are someone who can wear many hats and be able to multi-task. You have a background in entrepreneurship and innovation and be able to turn any boring and formal information into witty and fun written content.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Digital Media Design

• Design and execute various creative assets, including Social Media visuals, projects branding and launches, presentations, and others.
• Create branding for events and project launches.
• Be able to do basic edits for mobile video content for social platforms if needed.

Content Creator

• Create and develop attractive, witty, and informational captions and posts content for our social media campaigns.
• Transform existing learning material, about Entrepreneurship, Career readiness, and Financial Literacy, into digital content bytes and storytelling carousels.
• Create marketing copy for communications purposes and write youth success stories, blog posts, and small articles when needed.

Other Marcom Tasks

• Report to the Marketing & Communications Manager and assist in all required tasks.
• Help manage our social media pages on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn. (And possibly on TikTok)
• Brainstorm innovative content ideas and platform hacks that capture attention and increase engagement and following.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing or have finished a Bachelor degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications or other.
• Neat and fresh eye for design and modern visual trends.
• Passion for writing and excellent storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Familiarity with mobile apps to develop social content.
• Excellent proficiency in English mainly, and in Arabic.
• Familiarity and knowledge in Entrepreneurship.
