Job Responsibilities:

 

Technical

  • Participate in defining and refining the online shopping experience, including site architecture, browsing, and buying features, product views and details, product descriptions and other key elements
  • Offer streamlined online experience from product discovery to online transaction to post-sale support
  • Develop, monitor, and update product data and content on eCommerce websites.
  • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content collection, creation, distribution, maintenance, and product listings
  • Relentlessly drive improvements to the site experience through the development and execution of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects

 

Marketing

  • Assist in the testing and evaluation of all site enhancements, redesigns, campaigns, and new product introductions to ensure a best-in-class experience across all devices
  • Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies
  • Develop online merchandising strategy and tactics, such as product categorization, sequencing, cross sells, up-sells, and featured products
  • Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.
  • Develop customer insights to use to improve the e-commerce business

 

Reporting

  • Provide detailed reporting on product trends, competitor trends with actionable data to support business development decision making processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Collaborating and working closely with the accounts & stock supervisor and marketing coordinator
  • Reporting to the general manager

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

 

Qualifications & Personal Skills:

 

  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals
  • Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices
  • Knowledge of various platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and online sales strategies and can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions
  • Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail
  • Photography and design are a huge plus
  • Excellent command of Arabic & English language
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
