Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Minimum qualification required: Bachelor's degree. A qualification in Economics/Mathematics/Statistic/International Relations/Political Science/Social Sciences/Cooperation will be considered a preferential qualification.
- Knowledge of foreign languages: Excellent knowledge of Arabic and very good command of English.
- Degree of experience in the intervention sector: at least 1 year of previous experience in Data collection, data analysis and Monitoring in cooperations projects. Experience in emergency and humanitarian aid is an advantage.
- Degree of experience in cooperation interventions: at least 2 years of experience in the field of cooperation with local or international NGO/agency.
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in a sensitive environment and context (working with IDPs in shelters);
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels;
- Understanding of the concept of confidentiality, data safety, etc. ;
- Teamwork;
- Organization and Planning;
- Working under pressure
- Computer skills and experience working in database
Main functions and duties:
- Liaise and coordinate with the project team (Project Coordinator, M&E Department, Field workers) for planning and ensuring data collection and to coordinate specific tasks and activities;
- Accurately collect data through interviews and questionnaires with designated tools, directly involving IDPs beneficiaries of the project;
- Accurately enter and reporting data into designated tools;
- Tale part in the organized distribution of kits for IDPs in the targeted shelters;
- Monitor the distribution, ensuring the registration of beneficiaries in compliance with the protection of personal data;
- Collect in and post-distribution feedbacks directly involving IDPs beneficiaries in the targeted shelters;
- Maintain accurate and complete records of distributed items, and data entry activities;
- Report challenges or bottlenecks to the designated supervisor for prompt resolution;
- Prepare regular reports as required by the project team about project activities (distributions, etc);
- Travel to the different project intervention locations;
- Assist in any other duties when required by the Project Manager.
