Description:
- Assist in managing and overseeing the implementation of Helem’s assigned programming and all established timelines and objectives;
- Assist in managing and overseeing the implementation of Helem's assigned budgets associated with each program and monitor expenditures according to established objectives and timelines;
- Monitor and manage all of Helem's financial expenditures and liaise with Helem's finance department and ensure the procurement of all funds necessary to complete all necessary activities and expenditures;
- Ensure any and all compliance, monitoring and evaluation activities are met, recorded, archived and available for reporting;
- Monitor and evaluate all programming activities on a regular basis and actively manage any discrepancies in quality of service or implementation;
- Archive all necessary information, documents, and forms pertaining to each program and insure their safe and systemic documentation;
- Engage with the Executive Director and other staff members in necessary strategic planning, procurement of items, hiring of staff, and activity implementation of select Helem projects and programs;
- Assist the Executive Director in the management and implementation of Helem's strategic plan as well as creating and maintaining administrative, archiving, and monitoring mechanisms for all Helem;
- Assist the Executive Director in generating narrative and financial reporting on the implementation, quality, time-adherence, and expenditure of all assigned programming;
- Assist the Executive Director in managing and liaising with all internal staff and external personnel for the implementation of assigned projects including performance monitoring, goal tracking, and quality assurance;
- Provide advice and expertise on program and project implementation, including strategic, administrative, and logistical support when needed;
- Assist in any other tasks deemed necessary by the center or organization’s leadership.
Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Professional Competencies:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in non-profits
- Familiarity and/or previous exposure or work in the human rights, gender, and sexuality fields
- Excellent Arabic and English language fluency required, including in typing and writing.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel)
- An MA or BA in related fields strongly preferred
