QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
University Degree in gender Studies, psychology, sociology or Social Work, Master’s degree would be an asset.
Fluency in English, Arabic, including writing clear and concise reports.
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in related field. NGO experience is a plus
Excellent computer skills (Excel, word, power point and outlook)
Able to lead, train, supervise, facilitate and motivate GBV Community Workers in their respective tasks in a professional, respectful and supportive manner.
Able to work as part of a team.
Willing to work in a hardship area.
Clear understanding of gender, abuse of power, and issues surrounding violence against women
Able to maintain confidentiality, medical ethics, and respect for clients at all times.

GENERAL DUTIES:
Understands and adheres to the HAI Code of Conduct.

Always represents HAI in a professional manner.
Develops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues and line managers.
Performs all duties with the highest level of confidentiality in the interest of the employees and HAI.
Perform tasks not covered in this job description and to provide support to other departments when necessary and as requested.
Main Responsibilities:
Initiate planning for longer-term GBV prevention and response activities, including referral pathway and standard operating procedures.
Maintain, monitor and measure GBV project implementation and contribute to effective information management on GBV survivors
Closely work with case management officer and ensure that staff implement and respect best-practice and international standards in GBV prevention and response.
Participate in the design of project activities, monitoring systems and capacity building activities for partners and community member.
Assist GBV team in the development and testing of Behavior Change Communication (BCC) materials on GBV and violence prevention for the communities.
Oversee awareness raising activities and support the development of messaging.
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partners, community leaders, CBO and local NGOs and service providers.
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including Donors, partner agencies, community structures and service provider
Identify and report success stories.
Document best practices and lessons learned.
