Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive human resources policies, strategies, initiatives, and procedures in alignment with labour laws and regulations, while ensuring HAND's overall policies align with the organization's strategy.
- Support recruitment processes, ensuring adherence to established human resources policies and proper documentation archiving in collaboration with HR staff.
- Collaborate with project administration to help assess staffing needs, ensuring adequate personnel support for project implementations.
- Assist in setting objectives for the HR team and help monitor performance and progress.
- Provide support to new employees, facilitating their acclimation to roles and integration into the organizational culture.
- Help organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and archives.
- Work with other departments to effectively prepare and advertise job openings.
- Assist in conducting periodic surveys and implement a feedback mechanism to gauge employee needs, job satisfaction, and performance.
- Help develop a comprehensive training plan to enhance employee skills, based on performance evaluations and organizational needs.
- Assist in fostering a positive work environment and boosting employee engagement with recognition programs, team-building activities, and effective communication strategies.
- Address and follow up on employee inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Assist in establishing investigation committees for employee disputes and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Help manage matters related to employee vacations, warnings, and absences.
- Support the process of renewing and terminating employee contracts, ensuring compliance with clearance procedures and salary reviews.
- Maintain precise employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and leave documentation.
- Assist in archiving all applicant and employee CVs in the database by designated data entry personnel, following organizational requirements.
- Support staff registration with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and ensure adherence to relevant labour law regulations.
- Assist in administering the monthly staff payroll and completing NSSF paperwork in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Help coordinate budgeting activities and maintain personnel records for external projects.
- Support the implementation of a performance appraisal system to evaluate employee performance.
- Monitor and update the ERP system as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years experience in the field of Human Resources.
- Knowledge of Lebanese labour laws and regulations.
- Experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
