The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. He/She will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR compliance.
- Assist in posting job openings on job boards and organization website.
- Screen resumes and applications, and schedule interviews.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate background checks.
- Prepare and distribute new hire orientation materials.
- Assist in organizing and conducting employee orientation sessions.
- Ensure all required paperwork and documentation are completed by new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job changes, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Prepare and file HR-related paperwork and reports.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and process related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave.
- Process timesheets and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Assist with HR audits and reporting.
- Handle basic employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling employee information.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years’ work experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of HR functions, policies, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Data entry precision and accurately recording information without errors.
