WeWorld-GVC has been working in Lebanon since 2006 and is now supporting vulnerable populations through WASH, shelter, basic assistance and protection interventions aiming at increasing the resilience of the concerned communities, in North Bekaa (Baalbek-Hermel Governorate) and in Akkar.
GVC is actually recruiting a personnel to cover the position of 1 Logistic Assistant (Emergency Cash Assistance) to support activities in GVC Lebanon.
Job Title: Logistic Assistant (Emergency Cash Assistance)

Line Manager: Echo Programme Manager
Supervised by: Echo Programme Manager
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Cash Assistance program: ensure cases identified or referred for provision of cash assistance are properly recorded and responded through Cash United system; archiving and reporting in coordination with Emergency Program Coordinator and finance department;
- Follow-up of cases through phone calls: give further information needed to get the assistance and ensure they have withdrawn the cash through phone calls in coordination with Cash United staff;
- Delivery cash assistance in case the beneficiary is not able to withdraw money from Cash United counter; proper filling of the handovers, archiving and reporting in coordination with Emergency Program Coordinator and finance department;
- Responsible for Cash Assistance Hotline: answer the phone calls, inform beneficiaries about the criteria of the assistance, record their data for further assessment;
- Assessment on the field of cases through Kobo questionnaire;
- Coordination with other agencies on referrals and to avoid any duplication in the assistance;
- Participation in the meeting of the Beirut Response Cash Taskforce;
- Filling up the deduplication platform according to the criteria of the Beirut Response Cash Taskforce;
- Any other support for Logistics, Finance and MEAL Departments based on needs
