BACKGROUND BRIEF

Ruwad Al-Houkouk submitted in July 2021 a law proposal on Civil Events Registration that would modernize the civil registration regulations and mechanism and that allow for universal birth registration system, including stateless persons.

The rationale of the propose law is manifolds. Among them is to ensure the automatic birth registration of all.
