Care For Those Who Care - An Introduction Workshop Into Supervision

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) recommends the following event which is the third of its kind and organized by CoVisionMENA (important note: This is not an FES event!):
Lebanon and the entire region of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are facing huge humanitarian challenges – the support of many organisations and helpers is urgently needed. Thank you for your most valuable contribution!
But having to deal with the fates and stories of many desperate in addition to the challenges of overcoming cultural barriers, working in multidisciplinary teams and negotiating with donors can be very draining for the professionals involved. To meet the growing demand for Care for Caregivers, Clinical Supervision and Supervision Training in the region we founded CoVisionMENA. We are:
Dr. Sabine Sayegh-Jodehl is a German medical doctor and psychotherapist who speaks German, English and Arabic. She runs a private clinic, “Body and Mind”, in Jal al Dib (Lebanon) and specializes in psychodynamic and psychosomatic psychotherapy as well as trauma therapy and supervision. http://lb.linkedin.com/in/sabinesayeghjodehl
Beate Warczinski has a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences and an additional background as Supervisor and Psycho Trauma Counsellor. She speaks German and English and on a basic level Frensch and Polish. She is based in Berlin (Germany) and is working as freelance in Berlin and Beirut. She has been working for several years in the area of intercultural supervision in the Middle East. http://de.linkedin.com/in/beatewarczinski
With the instrument of Supervision, CoVisionMENA provides an interdisciplinary form of consulting suitable for many professions. It aims directly to optimise productivity and sustainability as well as personal satisfaction and emotional well-being in the workplace. Employees, whether in one-on-one or group Supervision sessions, are the focus of the consultations. Self-evaluation, emotional awareness, professional role and methodical competence plus case discussion and organization development are considered and evaluated with various structuring instruments as the centre of reflection in Supervision.
CoVisionMENA offers the chance of professional development for employees and project partners on a local level in Lebanon. Our goal for the future is to develop a Supervision and Coaching network of regional professionals in the MENA region and to reinforce Supervision as a profession in psychosocial, psychological and educating occupations. Therefore, we will launch the first training program on Supervision in Beirut, Lebanon, in October 2015. The German Institute for Psychotherapy and Supervision (Munich) carries out the certifying of all supervisors who have successfully completed the training.
To give you a first insight about Supervision and our Supervision training program, we are offering a third Introduction Workshop on Sasturday, 16 May 2015 from 13:30 till 17:30 pm at Metanoia Center, Gemmayze, Beirut.
Participation fee (including refreshments): 50 USD
