AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Media:

  • Develop, implement and manage the organization’s social media strategy;
  • Develop a content calendar
  • Conceptualize and implement the organization’s social media campaigns;
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign;
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and algorithms;
  • Use social media marketing tools;
  • Engage in copywriting and designing to ensure content is informative, appealing and impactful;

Project Management:

  • Organize outreach activities informing the local community about project activities whilst identifying potential beneficiaries
  • Organize joint community activities for the host communities and refugees
  • Disseminate information at the community level about the purpose and importance on FDCD Programmes and activities
  • Assist with the development of community activities related to social cohesion, diversity, democracy, gender equality, child protection, SGBV, PSEA
  • Prepare weekly\monthly reports for submission to the Project Manager (PM)
  • Provide the PM with suggestions or recommendations based on feedback from beneficiaries (direct and indirect) and communities.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum of five years of experience  (NGO is a must) 
  • University degree; 
  • Proven track record of working in a similar capacity with the national and/or international NGOs in the region; 
  • Highly skilled in report writing in both Arabic and English (French is a plus); 
  • Excellent oral English and Arabic communication skills 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
