Podcast Moderator
Role Overview
As a moderator for our vodcast, you will be responsible for moderating episodes, working in pairs with another moderator for each episode. You will collaborate on research, scriptwriting, and outreach to invite relevant speakers to participate. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in media production, public speaking, and research. Training will be provided to ensure you have the skills necessary to succeed in this role. However, commitment to the process is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Moderate Vodcast Episodes: Lead the conversation, steer discussions, ask engaging questions, and ensure the content stays on track and is engaging for the audience.
- Attend Training and Shooting Days: Commit to both training days (March 2025) and shooting days (between April and May 2025). Shooting days will be fixed and pre-defined with the production house, so flexibility is required.
- Collaborate with a Co-Moderator: Work with your pair on research, preparing the episode script, reaching out to relevant guests, booking them, and rehearsing the episode to ensure smooth interaction during recording.
- Pre-Production and Research: Contribute to researching episode topics, defining angles, preparing sections, drafting questions, and understanding the content fully before recording.
- Guest Outreach and Booking: Assist with contacting and scheduling guests for each episode alongside your co-moderator.

Research familiarity: Having experience with academic research and any background in writing, or publishing is desirable.
Experience
While no prior experience is required, we will filter applications based on potential and skills.

Commitment
You must be fully committed to both training (March 2025) and shooting days (April-May 2025). These may fall on weekends or weekdays, so availability is mandatory. Any absence will result in automatic disqualification.
Training days are compulsory. Apply only if you are certain you can commit to the full schedule.
You must be physically present in Lebanon for both training and recording of the vodcast.
