Project Description:
Following the completion of Phase I, Fiftyfifty is launching Phase II of its project “Women’s Revolution in Politics – Municipalities”, supported by UN Women in Beirut, which aims to empower and amplify the voices of women in the Lebanese community
The main objective is to support female candidates in the upcoming municipal elections and promote women’s active participation in politics through the following activities:
• Empowering 90 potential female candidates through general and in-depth trainings and awareness sessions and building community initiatives within their regions
• Establishing a Women Leaders Network that brings together current
female and former female politicians, female municipal council members, and potential female candidates for support, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Launching a national campaign to advocate for the female quota and to highlight the importance of women’s political participation at a local level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an online training session for two hours for women candidates on developing affiliations, focusing on establishing external connections and opportunities.
- Develop and deliver engaging and interactive training session that cover key concepts, strategies, and practical techniques for building effective affiliations.
- Provide participants with actionable insights and best practices for identifying potential partners, fostering relationships, and maximizing collaborative opportunities.
- Offer guidance on networking strategies, relationship-building techniques, and effective communication approaches for engaging with external stakeholders.
- Prepare an outline of the training session, outlining the topics to be covered, learning objectives, and session agenda.
- Create comprehensive presentation slides for the training.
- Conduct pre-training assessments to gauge participants' baseline knowledge.
- Implement innovative post-training evaluation methods to measure learning outcomes effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience in developing affiliations and partnerships across diverse sectors, industries, or organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering training to diverse audiences on networking, partnership development, or related topics.
- Deep understanding of networking principles, relationship-building strategies, and collaboration frameworks.
- Familiarity with effective lobbying tactics, negotiation strategies, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Proficiency in content development and curriculum design.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in addition to the organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules and training needs.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as political sciences, Law, or equivalent experience.
