1. Objective

  • The main objective of the project is to support agricultural cooperatives in Deir El Ahmar by reducing operational costs, providing labor, equipment and training to ensure the sustainability of member farmers and their ability to navigate difficult economic situations, ultimately improving the agricultural sector in the region.

 

2. Technical Specifications

Goods Specifications

  • Items Description: Solar energy that run the loads, charge the battery and return extra energy to the grid when the grid is ON.
  • The battery can also be charged from the grid in low PV conditions.
  • The generator is called in manually, (low battery conditions) to charge the batteries, run the loads and is then turned off.
  • Uninterruptible Power to all loads including providing grid-tied savings when the grid is up and off-grid independence and security when it is down or compromised.
  • Free lifetime Online Monitoring and data logging.
  • Quantity: One system to generate 3 phases; 15 KW (5KW for each phase) that including:
  • Solar panels (Q cells or similar) with their mounting structure,
  • Inverter European brand,
  • Batteries to store 30 KW (Lithium BYD brand)
  • The contractor shall provide and install an Earth line to shield the solar system components from EMI and ensure their safe operation.
  • Any necessary accessories or items (cables, surge arrestor, contactors, fuses etc)  (European brand )
  • Specifications: Solar system for an agricultural installation, it is preferable to visit the Deir el Ahmar facility to assess the necessary items.

 

3. Requirements & conditions

The service provider is required to deliver and install all items to Deir El Ahmar along with workers/helpers available to assist with loading and unloading products, as and whenever needed.

 

4. Company qualification

The company must have the following valid legal documents:

  • Commercial Circular
  • Fiscal Certificate of Incorporation at the Ministry of Finance
  • VAT Certificate of Registration if applicable
  • ID of company’s authorized representative(s)

  • The quotation’s evaluation process will consider following with assigned weights:

6. Payment Terms

  • Payments will be made only through bank transfer or bank cheques
  • The price will be paid in USD while the VAT will be paid in LBP based on the official exchange rate on the date of the invoice.
  • Payment will be made within 15 business days of invoice receipt.
