Embrace Lifeline Supervisor
Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical constructive feedback to Embrace Lifeline operators, in order to improve knowledge and skills of the lifeline call process
- Provide emotional support and debriefing for operators during and after calls
- Intervene in calls of high risk and imminent cases as per set protocol and collaboration with and under the supervision of the clinical supervisor on call
- Remain on call for a number of days per need to be agreed upon to debrief operators, and assess competence, burn out and compassion fatigue
- Ensure and oversee appropriate documentation in line with Embrace Lifeline policies and procedures
- Participate in performance evaluation of operators
- Assume responsibility in ensuring high quality of care and service
- Work closely with lifeline manager, other lifeline supervisors and social worker
- Participate in the interviewing and selection of new operators applicants to the Embrace Lifeline
- Make recommendations and provide suggestions to the Embrace Lifeline Manager on initiatives related to capacity-building and improving quality and workflow
- Attend weekly meetings with Embrace Lifeline chief operators, supervisor(s) and manager
- Document and archive supervision notes during supervision meetings
Qualities:
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
- Minimum of 2-year relevant experience in the respective field of work
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to handle emotionally taxing cases without being impacted
- Present proficient skills in positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
- Demonstrates flexibility, openness for feedback and respect for boundaries
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Experience in providing trainings
