Key Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt a comprehensive and structured outline for a 2 day workshop including but not limited to these topics.
- Training of frontliner workers on active listening skills
- Training of frontliner workers on the detection and assessment of suicide risk
- Identifying common mental health illnesses and treatments (include trauma and trauma related reactions)
- Improving the ability of service providers to collect feedback and complaints from beneficiaries
- Approaches and referrals to mental health treatment
- Develop and adapt an elaborate content based on the approved outline, with appropriate activities, tailored to frontliners. Content needs to be developed in both English and Arabic.
- Create informative and engaging visual and supporting documents (e.g: pamphlets, key messages, and any other relevant material) relevant to groups of different backgrounds.
- Develop evaluation tools/ surveys to gather feedback of participants on workshop.
Qualifications
- Licensed clinical psychologist, with experience working with adults and children
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Strong research skills, with ability to synthesize information, prioritize topics, and gather them into a comprehensive content for a workshop.
- Previous experience providing training to frontliners.
- Experience in suicide prevention
- Previous experience in developing mental health content is preferred.
