Senior Project Officer
The Senior Project Officer will be supporting in planning, implementing, executing, and monitoring DOT Lebanon's project through ensuring targets are reached and aligned with DOTLebanon’s values and mission.
Support in developing and implementing project’s plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Assist Project/Program managers in reviewing and maintaining a detailed action plan and budget forecast
Support and coordinate on DOTLebanon projects related to livelihood projects
Monitor project implementation, progress, issues, potential risks, and ensure project’s targets are reached
Ensure compliance with the overall donor’s requirements a regular basis
Assess the accuracy and completeness of project documentation and reporting such as agreements and other documents
Ensure that project outcomes are aligned with DOTLebanon’s values
Assist in evaluating the implementation of the project on regular basis
Monitor project’s budget on a regular basis and according to the approved budget
Coordinate with project partners, staff, and stakeholders
Ensure effective delivery of the projects
Maintain positive relationships and communication with local partners, CBOs, and local authorities.
Assist in preparing donor reports and project completion reports, including narrative and financial reports, in accordance with the donor’s timeline
Ensure the list of partners, targeted beneficiaries, and other related stakeholders is updated on a regular basis
Conduct field visits and monitoring on a regular basis
Report incidents directly to the Project/Program manager and DOTLebanon Country Director
Support in reporting lessons learned and success stories with to the Project/Program manager and DOTLebanon Country Director
Ensure a daily follow-up and monitoring with the field staff (Area Managers/ Field Officers) in the different areas of implementation
Participate in evaluating the impact of project interventions on the beneficiary population periodically, as needed
Support in completing reporting requirements as per MEAL’s and donor’s requirement (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
Ensure proper coordination on a regular basis with the Finance and Admin, MEAL unit, Human Resources unit, Communications Unit, Procurement Unit, and others
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
50% working in the field.
The starting date is still pending, as we are awaiting the final project approval from the donor.
