Objectives:

Understanding the concept of Theory of Change and how it differs from other planning models.

Learning how to develop a ToC by identifying key project outcomes, necessary preconditions, and the pathways that connect them.

Developing skills in creating visual diagrams (ToC maps) that clearly show how a project’s activities lead to desired outcomes.

Integrating stakeholder engagement in the process to ensure the ToC reflects the perspectives of all involved parties.

Both Theory of Change and Project Cycle Management complement each other. ToC can guide the design and planning of projects, while PCM helps manage the practical implementation and ongoing monitoring. Integrating both ensures projects are not only well-structured but also flexible, with measurable impacts and clear pathways to achieving goals.

The training will equip staff with both the theoretical frameworks and practical tools necessary to design, manage, and evaluate effective development projects
