Invitation to Bid - Sale of Organization's Vehicles (DCA)

DanChurchAid (DCA) is an international development organization with a presence in Lebanon since 2007, working towards saving lives, building resilient communities, and fighting extreme inequalities. DCA's mission in Lebanon is to address the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups and promote inclusive development. DCA Lebanon developed its new program strategy for 2023 to 2027.

In Lebanon, DCA focuses on providing humanitarian assistance and development programs to help communities affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty. The organization collaborates with local partners, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to implement projects that aim to clear mines, cluster munitions, and explosive remnants of war (ERW), address urgent humanitarian needs of people living in Lebanon, improve livelihoods, enhance social cohesion, and support sustainable development efforts.

Call for Auction - Sale of Two Vehicles:

 

Dear prospective buyers,

DCA – DanChurchAid is pleased to announce the sale of two of its well-maintained vehicles through a competitive bidding process. This is a rare opportunity to acquire reliable vehicles that have been regularly serviced and kept in good condition.

The vehicles available for sale are as follows:

Renault KANGOO, 2003, KM (230,000), good condition, Tourism registration card (4 seats).

Renault KANGOO, 2002, KM (235,000), good condition, Tourism registration card (4 seats).

How to apply

We invite interested parties to submit their bids for the purchase of these vehicles. To ensure a fair and transparent process, we request that all offers be placed in sealed envelopes and sent to the following address:

  • Bidders can bid for one or more vehicle.
  • In case of a price tie between two or more highest bidders, the respective bidders will be notified and requested to re-bid for a tie-breaker.
  • Successful bidder(s) will be notified on the result within one week after the closing date.
  • Payment must be remitted in full and within five (5) business days of sale notification.
  • Failure to comply will result in the item being offered to the second highest bidder.
  • DCA reserves the right to reject/cancel any bid at any time.
  • The buyer is responsible for all the expenses related to vehicles registration.

Please ensure that the envelope is clearly marked with "Vehicle Bid - Confidential." The deadline for submitting bids is 19th of December 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.

Upon receiving your sealed bids, our team will review and evaluate all offers. The highest bids meeting our criteria will be considered for further negotiation.
