We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, honest and result-oriented individual to join the expanding Codi team. The main responsibilities of this position will be to drive and develop our partnership strategy as we are getting ready to scale, be the face of Codi for external stakeholders; and oversee key communication channels. The position will be based in our Codi HQ office in Gemmayze (Beirut) with some monthly travel expected across Codi operations and key partner locations.
Please note this is a senior role within the Codi Management team and requires excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills in order to drive the development of Codi during this key next phase of growth (i.e. getting Codi to scale).
Responsibilities (incl. deliverables):
Manage and develop all key strategic partnership relationships at Codi (existing and new) across 3 main areas:
Grants & Partnerships:
Research and strategise new grants in alignment with Codi’s scaling goals (incl. new fundraising avenues/opportunities)
Lead major grant applications and streamline application process including all relevant documentation
Manage all successful grant processes including donor reports and admin / follow-up (support from Codi Analyst)
Employers:
Focus on creating a reliable network of employers (both national and international) for all Codi students upon graduation
Track through surveys and regular contact, all Codi alumni employment status
Drive and encourage sourcing of freelance projects and matching employers to specific talent needs
Streamline the employment partners process, arrange regular meetings with employers, new and existing
Update and manage the Codi ecosystem and leverage the database to continue expanding our network
Content & Delivery:
Manage and grow life-skills curriculum across Codi operations and manage scheduling with local Lead Trainer
Ensure the curriculum remains up to date and relevant and continuously reflects market updates or developments
Curate and grow new relationships with key stakeholders in Codi value network in digital / tech sectors (local & global)
Profile Requirements:

Able to manage multiple work streams in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining patience and positivity
Fast-learner and happy to work independently
Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Candidate - What we look for:
3-5 years experience in a strategic or business development role (preferred)
Experience within Marketing or Communications is encouraged
Fluency in English (Arabic & French preferred but not required)
Enthusiastic, well-organised, efficient, flexible, keen to learn new skills
Ability to participate within a multidisciplinary team and act autonomously as relevant
