DUTIES:

  • Provide individual case management for persons of concern and provide ongoing support to GBV survivors in accordance with all case management steps.
  • Apply the SoPs for GBV management and ensure the correct documentation and compilation of Case Management forms in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures
  • Ensure confidentiality of GBV case management data and information throughout the case management process, including referrals
  • Ensure proper follow up on all actions to be considered for individual cases till achieving desired results
  • Report the critical cases for final approval on the actions to be taken
  • Respond to emergency cases that require urgent follow up
  • Communicate and coordinate with other caseworkers and service providers in order to advocate, collaborate and conduct (internal and external) referrals according to the best interests of children
  • Conduct Household visits after coordinating with the line manager
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with the PSS team
  • Prepare progress monthly reports on cases of PoC and on activities implemented
  • Properly update the case management tracking sheet and case management tools
  • Participate in training, conferences and attend meetings
  • Coordinate with other partners/stakeholders in the regions to avoid duplication and provide better services.
  • Regularly document cases using case notes and other agreed upon forms.
  • Update databases / GBVIMS+ to ensure a comprehensive record of the case.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

ACADEMIC EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree in Social Work or other relevant degree

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in GBV
