Detailed Responsibilities & Tasks
General duties and responsibilities:
- assist in the day-to-day operations and implementation of the project’s activities.
- Collaborate with the Project manager and implementing partners to ensure efficient implementation of the project’s activities through working closely with partner field staff to ensure stimulant coordination of activities and other tasks.
- Outreach targeted community through field visits.
- Assist in the planning and implementing of training, workshops, and other project activities as needed.
- As part of the Emergency response team, ensure that all protection and humanitarian principles are mainstreamed and respected.
- Provide accurate and timely information to beneficiaries about services available including health, psycho-social services, case management and others.
- Be available to participate in meetings with CARE and partners when needed.
- Meets with other program staff as required.
- He/she can be asked required to perform other related duties as identified by his supervisor.
- Be available for eventual trainings provided by CARE.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Assists, plan and organize awareness sessions targeting women, girls, men and boys on topics such as GBV, PSEA and trauma healing.
- Adapt the modality of delivering activities as per WHO guidelines for COVID-19 social distancing measures.
- Provide PFA to targeted beneficiaries and conduct referrals for specialized mental health services as needed.
- Work closely with the project manager and implementing partner in order plan and organize trainings targeting front line works on topics such as PSEA, DO No Harm, AAP.
- Contributes to the identification of project targeted women/girls and children and refer cases to the implementing partner when needed.
- Process and follow- up on all referral done in an adequate time frame.
- Provide in respect of the following timeline, the program activities (weekly report of daily activities), monitoring tool (weekly filled)
- Maintain the daily attendance register and monthly inventory sheet
Proven Experience:
- Experience in programming and promoting issues on protection and GBV
- A minimum of 2 years of progressively professional experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in implementing programs focused on women and girls
- Deep knowledge of GBV issues and ad hoc curriculum
IT / Software / Technical Skills:
Familiarity with MS Office software, such as Excel
