CARE is implementing a capacity building and livelihood community-based agriculture project that seeks to address critical capacity gaps along targeted value chains at both the individual, communal and institutional levels This position is responsible for the outreach, implementation, follow up, and quality maintenance for the Agricultural Training activities, GHP/GMP, Food processing trainings, and GMP according to donor’s request with the support of the team.

Responsibility: Project Implementation & Field work

Knowledge of WFP projects implementation and reporting requirements.

Conduct daily field monitoring visits to provide support when needed to ensure quality implementation in all areas (North Lebanon and South Lebanon).

Outreach & follow up with relevant actors such as Youth Committees, Universities, and vocational schools, NGOs/ community focal points about the current project.

Lead on the development of the Attendance Lists, service lists, and Payment lists as per WFP mandates.

Maintain the participants database up-to-dated respecting CIL and WFP standards.

Prepare, conduct, and support training sessions for participants in North and South Lebanon.

Develop, update and follow up a detailed work plan, in line with donor agreement and in agreement with the CARE Livelihoods Manager

Oversee the collection and maintenance of data of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization.

Assist in organizing, preparing and running meetings, workshops and conferences and draft minutes.

Engage in filing and archiving activities when needed.

Assist in gathering of monitoring data for project reports.

Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CARE and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.

Any other tasks assigned.

a. Skills & knowledge:

Experience in in Field work and databases.

Extensive knowledge in Livelihoods Sector

Extensive experience interacting with and relating to gender professionals and international stakeholders at senior level.

Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.

Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment

b. Experience:

At least   3-5  years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on data collection and analysis

c. Academic background: 

Master’s degree in one or several of the following areas: Business

Languages: English and/ or Arabic are the working language of CARE International in Lebanon.
