CIL is looking for a Consultant that can assess, analyze, and recommend a tailored Life Coaching Sessions Program for CIL staff in consultation with staff and Senior Management. This consultancy will provide the training curriculum.

 

Objectives

CARE International in Lebanon (CIL) is seeking a consultant to work with a group of about 20 employees to improve their skills in the following areas: a) support staff well-being; b) self-awareness and self-growth, c) conversation communication and communications skills, e) managing stress and time, and f) avoiding procrastination.

The program should assist employees in developing and increasing their self-awareness so that they have a better understanding of their own strengths and identify the skills they need to further develop.  It should help adapt working in different environments and context changing, encourage proactiveness and commitment within the organization, and develop employees to be highly successful in reaching organizational and individual goals by creating a safe and healthy work environment. This program will target 20 staff that will be identified by HR and SMT following application forms.

 

The Life Coaching and Mentoring Program should:

  • Identify talent and groom them for career growth within the organization
  • Enhance staff wellbeing
  • Help employees better express their feelings and challenges after all the crises we are going through (Oct2019 civil unrests, Banks crisis, Beirut Blast, COVID19, Socio Economic challenges…)
  • Mentor staff and help them manage their stress and adapt on new working modalities and the “new normal” lifestyle
  • Align individual and organizational values and goals
  • Improve and strengthen staff engagement at all levels in broad organizational goals
  • Provide tools and methodologies for self-management and good people management skills
  • Fortify retention and increase motivation
  • Enhance the staff ability to manage change, take risks, collaborate, build partnerships, and teams

 

Deliverables & Timeline:

The consultancy includes five main deliverables:

  1. Assessment report and recommendations: the consultant will meet with SMT and key stakeholders to assess training needs, clarify the objectives, conduct performance assessment, and propose a training curriculum tailored for CIL needs and objectives.
  2. Conduct the proposed training and coaching curriculum: conduct a series of workshops (maximum 4) for the customized learning objectives. The training sessions should include blended programs and interactive training methods, role playing, practical activities, and business games. The consultant will provide ongoing individual coaching sessions. The consultant should provide attendance certificate to all participants. 
  3. Evaluation of the program: participants and SMT should be able to evaluate their satisfaction with the program on an ongoing basis and to identify which skills have been improved by the program for each participant. By the end of the program, CIL will be able to measure progress on behavior change and achievement of smart goals (individual and collective) achievements.
  4. Coaching Reports for every participant in the program.
  5. Final report and findings: Submit a final report with results of the program, recommendations for the participants on how to engage in broad and when possible strategic levels of discussion, and action points for participants to utilize their potential and grow in the roles, by applying the knowledge and tools acquired in the program in their day-to-day activities.

Consultant Profile

  • At least   5-10  years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on Life Coaching, Mentoring, and supporting talent management/mapping processes for organizations
  • Master’s degree in one or several of the following areas: HR Management, Sociology, or similar

Competencies

  • Extensive experience interacting with and relating to gender professionals and international stakeholders at senior level.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment
