CARE International in Lebanon (CIL) announces the launch of the expression of interest call. Therefore, CIL is inviting existing partners and prospective Organizations working in the humanitarian and developmental fields to express their interest in forging a partnership with CIL to potentially collaborate in the framework of its current and upcoming programming in Lebanon including the co-development of proposals to pursue new funding opportunities. CIL in its turn will ensure the highest standards of fairness, transparency and objectivity in the selection process. 

CIL has been actively working in Lebanon since 2006 and responding to the Syria Crisis since 2012. In Lebanon, CIL and its local partners are supporting and enhancing the stabilization and resilience of the most vulnerable populations and communities, with a focus on the rights of women, children and youth through services and support in the sectors of livelihood, shelter, protection and water, sanitation and hygiene.

CIL is also targeting the most vulnerable and affected groups from Beirut blast through its emergency programs to meet their basic needs and protect their dignity, rights and survival while working in partnership with widespread national and local partners.

CIL’s goal is to reach a 100% partnership approach to further prioritize the enhancement of local systems capacities to support improved and increased quality services from service providers.

Through the Expression of interest, CIL is seeking potential partners who are interested in collaborating in the following sectors:

  1. Protection
  2. Education
  3. Energy
  4. Food Security and Agriculture
  5. Health
  6. Livelihoods
  7. Basic Assistance
  8. Shelter
  9. Social Stability
  10. WASH
  11. Information Management

EoI must be submitted in English prior to the deadline, April the 5th 2021. Kindly note that late submissions will be disregarded.

Participation in the EoI does not guarantee the Organization to be ultimately selected for partnership with CIL. The submitted applications will be evaluated by the partnerships team to identify the potential Organizations based on minimum eligibility criteria. Furthermore, shortlisted Organizations will be invited to fill an Organization Capacity Assessment prior to the final selection by the partnerships committee.

The content, data and information shared in the EoI are for pure internal use and highly confidential. Sharing confidential information with a third party and unauthorized access is not permitted at all as per CARE Code of Conduct.

Applicants should be aware that all information will not be saved until they are successfully uploaded in the queue or until submission of the application, therefore, applicants should avoid closing the application tab prior to submission, otherwise re-starting the application process might be needed.

New prospective Organizations are required to attach the following 4 documents to the application:

  1. Registration documents; Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Finance Documents if applicable
  2. Organizational organogram, including departments if available
  3. Internal Audit report if applicable
  4. External Audit report if applicable

Existing partners are not required to attach any document.
