Video Production Specialist - Lebanon Innovate

Context & Background 

This project aims to produce a high‐quality, engaging video to introduce the Lebanon Innovate Portal

(website), a new online hub and directory designed to support and connect the innovation ecosystem in Lebanon. The portal will serve as a comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry stakeholders, offering access to knowledge, funding opportunities, and key ecosystem players. The video will highlight the portal’s key features, benefits, and impact, using talking heads, motion graphics, and compelling visuals to ensure clarity and engagement.

Scope of work and Deliverables 

The freelancer/company will be responsible for the end‐to‐end production process, including:

• Video Shooting: Capture high‐quality footage of talking heads, ensuring proper lighting, framing, and sound. Operate professional cameras and equipment.
• Audio Editing: Clean, enhance, and mix audio recordings, including voiceovers and sound effects.
• Motion Graphics: Design and animate dynamic graphics (e.g., lower thirds, transitions) to enhance the video’s storytelling.
• Post‐Production: Edit video footage, integrate motion graphics, and apply color grading for final delivery.
• Project Management: Collaborate with the creative team to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.

Deliverables and Timeline

• 1 high‐quality video (1:00–1:15 minutes) explaining the Lebanon Innovate Portal, featuring talking heads and necessary B‐roll.
• Enhanced audio, including professional voiceovers and sound effects.
• Motion graphics integrated for clarity and engagement.
• Final edited video files optimized for various platforms (social media, website, presentations).
• Filming details: 1 shooting location, half day of production.
• Output formats: MP4 (1080p/4K), with versions suitable for different platforms (16:9 for YouTube, 1:1 or 4:5 for social media, etc.).

Project Timeline

• Project Start:  21 February 2025
• Final Deliverable Deadline: end of February 2025

Budget and Payment Method

1800 Euro

Payment Terms

• 50% payment upon contract signature
• 50% payment upon final video approval and submission
• All payments will be made by cheque Fresh

Reporting and Communication

The selected freelancer/company will report to the project coordinator and work closely with the creative team to align with project expectations. Regular check‐ins and feedback sessions will be scheduled to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery:

• Pre‐Production Check‐in: Before filming starts 
• Filming Review Check‐in: After filming completion 
• Post‐Production Feedback: 3 structured feedback rounds 
• Final Approval: 26 February

Evaluation and Approval:

The final video will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

• Visual and audio quality – Professional‐grade footage, clear sound, and polished editing.
• Creativity and engagement – Effective use of motion graphics and storytelling techniques.
• Technical accuracy – Adherence to required formats and specifications.
• Timely delivery – Meeting the established project milestones and deadlines.

Technical selection criteria:

Technical Proficiency in Video Production Software

• Expertise in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to edit, color correct, and enhance videos professionally and cinematic storytelling, high-end lighting.

Experience with Filming Equipment & Production Techniques

• Knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio recording, and stabilization tools.
• Understanding of different shooting styles, framing, and composition for high-quality production.

Portfolio & Work Samples

• A diverse and high-quality portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability, creativity, and technical skills.
• Examples of different types of video content from previous events or projects (e.g., corporate, online classes, educational video content and social media videos).

Motion Graphics & Animation Skills (if required)

• Ability to create motion graphics, visual effects, and animations
• Understanding of typography, transitions, and visual storytelling to enhance video content.
