Sales Consultant– ACT SMART INNOVATION HUB STARTUPS

Context & Background

 

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

 

The Accelerator Program's mission is to nurture and grow disruptive ideas, proof of concepts, and prototypes that share three common characteristics:

  1. A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the agri-food sector.
  2. The possibility to scale beyond the local market
  3. The potential to create sustainable job opportunities locally

 

Scope of work

 

The Accelerator Program seeks a Sales Consultant to improve the entrepreneurs’ business development and sales skills and help them drive better startup sales processes and outcomes:

 

The selected candidate will be required to deliver an online training/workshop that covers the following:

  • The latest and greatest in sales and business development educational material
  • The central role of sales & business development in a startup’s daily activities including practical tools that entrepreneurs can leverage in their businesses
  • Tools for entrepreneurs to their startup’s needs in terms of sales and business development
  • An overview of key KPIs to keep in mind and monitor
  • Tools and frameworks to assess and diagnose sales performance gaps and recommend practical, timely and effective solutions to close those gaps
  • Negotiation techniques and strategies to adopt with a high-level modus operandi for each

The selected candidate will also be required to conduct a 1:1 coaching session with every startup of the cohort (seven in total) in order to discuss with them their current sales/business development strategies and processes and suggest tools and tactics they can implement to get more leads, convert more leads into customers, and boost their sales.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Consultant, Trainer or similar role, preferably with a startup or in a startup environment
  • Possess strong selling knowledge and skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the training, sales processes and best practices
  • Hands on experience managing the full training cycle
  • Exceptional platform delivery and facilitation skills - ability to deliver training programs from existing materials and teach sales-related training modules
  • Demonstrates strong communications skills and professional credibility to influence entrepreneurs and sales professionals
  • Demonstrated success in recommending learning solutions to drive sales results
