Context & Background

About Berytech:

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

About FFE:

Femme Francophone Entrepreneure project was created by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in the Middle East in partnership with Berytech and l’Orient le Jours with the aim of fostering business development and promoting female entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

FFE supports women entrepreneurs in their business creation projects thanks to financial support and a specially adapted environment. The AUF grants a subsidy to the best projects and Berytech provides the necessary support for business creation. The grant obtained makes it possible to cover incubation costs over six months.

About Kids Baking Box:

We provide cooking workshops for kids. We help them create sweet memories through cooking and decorating. We currently aim at launching our Kids Baking Academy to gather kids in a very interactive and safe space to learn, cook, bake, and have fun.

SCOPE OF WORK AND REQUIREMENTS:

The scope of construction work will cover the following components:

• Debris Removal & Demolition: Clearing debris and necessary demolition work for project execution.
• Electrical system for the outlet/store.
• Full plumbing, drainage, ventilation, and water systems for the outlet/store.
• Sliding Door: Installation and testing for smooth operation, secure access, and wheelchair accessibility.
• Toilet Facility: Refurbishment - proper ventilation and separate staff restroom.

Deliverables

The expected deliverables include:

• A detailed project plan, including timelines and milestones.
• A final report detailing the construction works done.

Qualifications

• Applications to this proposal can be from independent contractors, corporations, or agencies.
• The service provider should have at least 5 years of experience working with startups.
• Proven experience in construction and fit-out works, particularly in educational or culinary facilities.
• Relevant licenses and certifications.
• Positive references from previous clients.
• Ability to meet project timelines and budget constraints.

Budget

The budget should not exceed 6,000 Euros (including VAT).

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Experience and qualifications of the contractor.
• Quality and feasibility of the proposed project plan.
• Cost-effectiveness and budget adherence.
• References and past performance.
