Enumerators

Description:
Under the supervision of the MEAL Manager, Enumerators are responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments with potential beneficiaries in the targeted areas in North Lebanon and Akkar. The position requires significant fieldwork and movement with his/her personal car in the targeted area.

The enumerator's tasks:

Conduct Field Interviews: Visit assigned households and potential beneficiaries to conduct face-to-face interviews using a pre-designed questionnaire.

Data Collection: Accurately collect and input data related to the interviewee's needs

Beneficiary Outreach: Engage with beneficiaries professionally and respectfully, explaining the purpose of the assessment and addressing any questions they may have.

Comply with the Data Collection and the Reporting Framework: Acknowledge and document all information gathered in a precise and reproducible manner, and treat it with confidentiality according to established protocolsTravel to Assessment Sites: Use personal vehicle to travel to designated locations, ensuring timely visits to assigned beneficiaries

Reporting: Provide daily updates and reports to the MEAL Manager/ MEAL officer on completed interviews and any issues encountered during the assessment.

Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety and security guidelines while visiting field locations.

Ideal Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in international development, Management information system, social science, statistics, Public administration, humanitarian action, or any related field
• Experience:  Previous experience in data collection, field surveys, or needs assessments is a must
• Previous experience with NGO/INGO is an advantage
• Having a car and driving license is a must
