DESCRIPTION: 

 

  • Supports all Psychosocial Support Program Components in terms of management, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation;
  • Supports the development of monitoring and evaluation tools;
  • Provides technical support on Gender-Based Violence, Child Protection, and Psychosocial Support to AL-JANA’s project officers and project field teams as well as to partners’ teams;
  • Seeks and solicits funding, under the guidance of the Programmes Coordinator;
  • Develops proposals, progress reports, and final reports for supervised and complementary projects;
  • Conducts field visits on a regular basis to the different project sites to ensure that activities are being implemented by AL-JANA’s team as well as partners’ teams according to the project work plan and in compliance with the adopted monitoring and evaluation tools;
  • Deliver technical support to partners, coaching, and coordinate case management conferences and discussions.
  • Maintain CP/GBV referral system.
  • Facilitates or supports the organization of project-related training, workshops, and events;
  • Participates in project meetings and UN  interagency coordination meetings/working groups at the national/ field level and provides regular feedback;
  • Supports correspondence with donors and partners, in cooperation with the Programmes Coordinator.
  • Prepares monthly reports;
  • Maintains close coordination with the Reporting Officer; 
  • Represents ARCPA in related events as requested;

Work Experiences:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the domain of NGOs or relevant work experience in mental Health and Psychosocial Support programs, experience in Child Protection programs, and any other continuing professional development is an advantage.
  • Candidates must have the appropriate skills and training using proven quality and safety methods that underpin the delivery of a mental health and child protection service
  • Experience in program designing, implementation, field close monitoring, coaching, and efficient reporting.
 
  • Other skills:
  • Experience in the assessment process, evaluation, and technical training
  • Good knowledge of Protection Principles, Case Management, and Survivor-Centered Care
  • Communication skills:  Be able to effectively relay instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for Right Holders (Clients)
  • Demonstrate understanding of working with children in particularly vulnerable children
  • Positive, Professional attitude and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to details
  • Ability to work as a team member and team leader
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to acquire knowledge through training on different systems: RIMS, CPIMS, activity info, etc.
  • Flexible and responsive to program challenges
  • Self-Motivated, Interaction, innovative, and able to deal with unexpected tasks.
  • Ability to work during emergencies with refugees and vulnerable groups
