  • Bachelor’s degree in  Marketing , Communication , Social Media or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, sales, communication, social  media, public relations, alumni relations, other.
  • Social Media training and experience is a must
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and adapt
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize responsibilities
  • Familiar with Amideast, programs and services
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office; high proficiency in Excel is required

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS:

             

               

  • DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS MEDIA STRATEGY TO SHOWCASE IMPACT OF AMIDEAST'S WORK IN LEBANON

by

assessing promotional needs of programs and working with managers to develop effective media action plans; establishing relations with diverse media contacts (T.V., newspapers, etc.); alerting supervisor to media pieces mentioning AMIDEAST; writing and releasing press releases; and representing AMIDEAST in media exposure initiatives as appropriate.

 

  • MANAGES THE USE OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY

by

enlivening AMIDEAST’s online presence by ensuring all programs and services are promoted effectively on the website and other social media communication channels (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and coordinating with the managers to update the content  on all sites whenever needed; coordinating with the Program Managers and Associates to ensure that promotional materials are always up-to-date and that printed and social media promotional materials comply with AMIDEAST branding guidelines; and working with the managers to optima effective communication about AMIDEAST and all programs throughout the office space by designing bulletin boards, posters, photo collections, displays, multimedia presentations, etc. to best communicate and market all AMIDEAST programs and services.

 

  • COORDINATES THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS TO ENSURE THEY ARE EFFECTIVE AND TIMELY

by

developing, writing, editing and/or printing reports, announcements, flyers and any other promotional materials needed; coordinating with all departments to identify their needs for promotional materials and working directly with them to prepare the materials according to donor and AMIDEAST branding guidelines; identifying, negotiating and placing free and paid television, radio, print and electronic ads, as appropriate and as budget permits; closely coordinating with the managers to contact vendors and distributors to get competitive offers and prices, handle all print jobs of promotional materials and office branded stationery; and handle the distribution of marketing/promotional materials, flyers, annual reports, holidays greetings, etc.

Coordinates community-based activities including marketing campaigns, site-based promotions, special events, sponsorships and cross-promotions.

 

  • SUPPORTS MARKETING EFFORTS TO RAISE CUSTOMER AWARENESS ABOUT ALL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

                by

assisting in handling all inquiries - electronic, by telephone, or in person - promptly and professionally and providing accurate and appropriate information; handling the logistics for upcoming fairs in collaboration with colleagues of other departments; and updating alumni, contact, and media lists/database and logs.

by

maintaining an updated database with key data to communicate with and track alumni; collecting testimonials and pictures of alumni; capturing alumni success stories; maintaining communication with alumni by sharing announcements about vacancies, scholarships, and other opportunities; attending alumni events; and working with managers to develop proactive alumni engagement strategies and organizing alumni activities when needed.

  • LEADS SALES AND MARKETING EFFORTS FOR FEE-BASED SERVICES IN ENGLISH,TRAINING AND TESTING DEPARTMENTS TO ACHIEVE GROWTH

by

working closely with Training, English and Testing departments to plan and develop an annual marketing plan including new strategies by September 1 each year for courses and services they plan to offer the next fiscal year; implementing the marketing plan and monitoring results; support in initiating and conducting market research studies and surveys to identify market needs and opportunities related to educational and training services; support in developing new proposals for English, training, and testing services upon client request; plan and conduct marketing activities to increase testing clients and reporting on results achieved; developing new proposals for English, training, and testing services upon client request; plan and conduct marketing activities to increase testing clients, including the delivery of test administration services if needed and reporting on results achieved; conducting staff orientations, briefings and trainings as needed to fully enlist all colleagues in the sales and marketing efforts; coordinating with different departments to ensure AMIDEAST services are presented optimally at fairs and shows, including selecting products to be displayed, renting equipment or materials if needed, and preparing materials and setting up staff schedules for public booths and displays.

conducting visits and making sales calls and presentations when needed, sending promotional letters/materials, and writing proposals to companies and institutions to sell and market testing products (TOEIC/TFI, ITP, etc.), English language courses, test preparation courses, professional development workshops,  AMIDEAST Entrepreneur Institute workshops, and any new services developed.

 

  • MONITORS MARKETING PERFORMANCE TO BETTER ASSESS RESULTS GENERATED BY DIFFERENT TOOLS AND STRATEGIES

     by

analyzing business developments and comparing pre- and post-marketing sales; submitting weekly reports to supervisor tracking leads, offers, and results; keeping logs of the sale and profitability of the marketed products and services; and evaluating the financial aspects of products to be marketed.

 

  • IMPROVES THE RANGE OF SERVICES BEING OFFERED

by

initiating and conducting market research studies and surveys to identify market needs; keeping up-to-date on trends related to educational and training services; identifying new opportunities for developing new products and services; and developing and implementing focused sales plans for all services.

 

  • Ensures that AMIDEAST remains competitive

 

by

conducting market research on competitors’ services and prices; establishing marketing objectives based on AMIDEAST’s mission and annual targets; proposing pricing strategies that balance the organization’s objectives and customer satisfaction; keeping all relevant departments informed of key findings regarding marketing performance; working with department managers to better understand their services and products to be marketed;; and advising departments on any factors or developments that might affect products and services.

  • EXPANDS AMIDEAST'S CLIENTELE

by

conducting surveys and research and culling lists to identify potential clients; developing focused marketing plans; promoting products and services directly through visits and calls, promoting services by conducting presentations at public workshops, conferences, trade shows, and other such events; and tapping into all AMIDEAST departments’ networks of contacts from diverse sectors and publics to support promotion of our products and services for their direct benefit or to benefit contacts in their networks.  

 

  • SERVES AS KEY LIAISON WITH ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE IMAGE OF AMIDEAST

by

planning meetings and handling all aspects related to the board functions and activities, and developing reports and multimedia presentations for each meeting as needed.

  • PROVIDES FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE, MAINTAINS CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE, AND ENHANCES THE IMAGE OF AMIDEAST

by

welcoming all callers and visitors in a helpful and courteous manner; directing all customer inquiries to appropriate departments; addressing customer inquiries with accurate and proper information; and conducting all work with the highest ethical standards and discretion.

supporting any new initiatives or issues as requested by supervisor; providing support for urgent work of other departments as needed, including the Testing Department during exam registration periods, the Advising Department during events and meetings, the Accounting Department with cash transaction when needed, and all other departments during in-house or outside events (conferences, exhibitions, meetings, etc.); conducting all work in a professional and collegial manner; and taking the initiative to proactively identify ways to improve our work and services to ensure the best possible environment for clients.

 

  • CONTRIBUTES TO ENSURING A SAFE AND PROFESSIONAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR STAFF, CUSTOMERS, AND VISITORS

by

maintaining vigilance about potential security problems (such as unattended bags or inappropriate visitor behavior); and alerting and coordinating with the security guard, Office Manager, and IT Manager to address such issues immediately.
