Call for Applications for social initiatives

Are you leading a social initiative that aims to make a difference?

Acted is pleased to announce a Call for Applications for social initiatives aiming to create a positive impact in the community. This opportunity is open to individuals, organizations, and grassroots groups working on innovative and sustainable solutions to social challenges.

Who Should Apply? We are seeking applications from the following groups:

• The initiative must focus on social development, inclusion, or community empowerment.
• Open to nonprofits, social enterprises, and grassroots movements.
• The initiative should be scalable, impactful, and community driven.

Priority areas:

The mini grants can be distributed for any items/services to be used for shelter support activities in the BML area, for instance, such as, but not limited with the list below:

• Organizing child-friendly spaces in shelters; organizing playgrounds, sports pitches, and creative learning spaces in shelters and community area
• Creating inclusive community spaces for families, people with disabilities, elderly, single-mothers, and other marginalized groups
• Sanitation and hygiene: Site cleaning, land leveling and awareness
• Greening / Gardening
• Waste management and community-led recycling
• Public infrastructure such as light refurbishment or repair of damaged structures
• Community Kitchens
• PSS Activities
• Skills development activities; Capacity building activities /workshops for IDPs and vulnerable groups
• Distributions of relief items to vulnerable groups

Program Benefits:

• 1500 USD based on a specific activity to be proposed by the social initiative
