MASAR CALL for PARTICIPATION – PROFILING of CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES

More than 5.6 million Syrian refugees are registered in neighboring countries due to the conflict that erupted in Syria in 2011. The mass influx of refugees presents many challenges to host communities. Local governments are often the actors responsible for responding to these challenges. “MASAR for Local Governments”, project funded by the EU’s Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis (“MADAD”), seeks to strengthen the long-term resilience of subnational governments and their host, refugee and IDP populations to deal with displacement.

Specifically, ACCD is looking for construction companies with a proved record in the area of expertise irrigation infrastructure; namely:

  • Irrigation infrastructure construction;
  • Channel infrastructure repair works and maintenance;
  • Installation of measurement equipment;
  • Construction of sluice gates;
  • Carrying out studies of drainage networks;
  • Construction of drainage structures;
  • Complete cleansing and dredging, including closed underground sections
  • Carrying out topography of channel branches;
  • Installation of channel security features (from covering with light materials to the installation of suitable enclosures, as needed);
  • Design of a sewage collection network;

How to apply

Candidate companies with a fitting profile are invited to share their details by sending their company profile before 30 June 2020 by 12:00 Middle East Time to the following e-mail address: [email protected].

It is required that companies profiles include the following information:

   a) Contact details;

   b) Main areas of expertise;

   c) Recount of most relevant projects executed during the last 5 years, specifying projects executed under               international projects / donor agencies;

Companies sending their profiles are responsible for the veracity of the data included.

ACCD reserves the right to keep the profiles gathered through this “Generic call for consultancies” until the end of the MASAR project, foreseen for December 2022.
