Consultancy for Graphic Designer/Animator
ABAAD – Resource Center for Gender Equality, is seeking a graphic
designer/animator to develop 5-6 comic strips/awareness raising information,
education, and communication (IEC) materials to be disseminated to affected
community members (Syrian refugees and vulnerable host community). The IEC materials will center on the
following key messages: (a) Safety at home, (b) Safety at work, (c) Safety on
the Streets, and (d) Safety online and Safe Reporting. The IEC materials are to be based on ABAAD
developed scripts that require rendering for mass dissemination via
social-media platforms and messaging services (i.e. WhatsApp). **Note: It is planned to have one (1)-two
(2) central characters be the focus of the key messages – i.e. these characters
being portrayed in all IEC materials.
ABAAD is seeking a professional graphic designer and/or animator (can be individual and/or
agency/company) to produce and design 5-6 IEC material designs (i.e. comic-book
strip or visual rendering). Designs to showcasepositive portrayals of refugees and host community members. IEC Materials are
to be catered for dissemination on all social-media platforms (Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube), ABAAD’s website, and screened in all of ABAAD structures,
Ministry of Social Affairs’ Social Development Centers (MOSA SDCs), and UNHCR
registration offices. IEC Materials to be aligned with ABAAD and
donor visibility guidelines. IEC Materials to be culturally and gender-sensitive
to the Lebanese and refugee context.
IEC Materials are to be disseminated and shared as of November 27, 2020
(can be done in batches). Tentative
dates for work on production: November 18-December 4, 2020. Estimated 15 working

Previous experience in the production of
high-quality IEC Materials (brochures, awareness-raising materials,
Previous experience working with the humanitarian sector on the production of online/offline content.
