Since 1998, IOM - the United Nations Migration Agency - provides Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced people as well as to host communities in more than sixty countries, covering three main strategic objectives:
In Lebanon, IOM implemented executive trainings with the Lebanese university since 2007 and a big number of participants from different local NGOs and ministries benefitted from the MHPSS capacity building programs implemented with the Lebanese university. In order to evaluate the impact of their training, IOM will recruit a consultant to evaluate the program, assess the impact and set recommendations based on the lessons learned, the challenges and the success stories.
The purpose of the assignment is to evaluate the impact of the training in the participants field work and experience as well as based on the objectives of the training, measure the achievements. The evaluation report will also include a series of key recommendations collected from the participants, their managers and the Lebanese university.
Tasks to be performed under this assignment:
a) Lead the evaluation process through exercises, such as desk research, focus group discussions, surveys, and/or key informant interviews (including interviews with participants, managers, Lebanese university, MoSA…)
b) Analyze the evaluation results with IOM national officer.
c) Prepare the final report based on the findings, success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.
