Jobs and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Salam policies and procedures.
Ensure that all equipment for projects is in working condition and liaise with local contacts to fix what is needed.
Cooperate with the different departments to create and maintain a comprehensive inventory for all warehouses, projects and centers.
Handle procurement needs of the organization, complying with general standards of obtaining 3 quotes for all large purchases. Ensure smooth relationships with suppliers, and find new suppliers when needed.
Coordinate the distributions and ensure they run smoothly.
Ensure accountability of the processes and work towards maximum efficiency in spendage related to logistical matters.
Ensure all forms and documentation are securely filed, adhering to data protection regulations
Ensure the maintenance and safety of all vehicles as well as ensuring that all rules and insurance regulations are in place.
Work collaboratively with all staff and volunteers and deal with local authorities when needed.
Handle any issues, discreetly, and confidentially as they arise, to create a positive environment and dynamic amongst the volunteers and staff.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Be the reference point for logistics in the association.
