Goals of Taaheel:
1. Taaheel targets children and youth, age range 5 to 15. It addresses the needs of those who need counseling, rehabilitation, and therapy. It helps them become active learners to play productive roles in society. In collaboration with the Ministries of Social affairs, Education and Health, Taaheel addresses:a. Children who are suffering from school delay because of learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia…b. Children who have behavioral and emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety, fear…c. Gifted children who are deprived of the opportunity to excel and play unique roles in society.2. Taaheel provides awareness seminars to parents in educating their children and leading them towards self sufficiency. It enables children to reach their maximum potentials and productivity taking into consideration their individual differences.3. Taaheel targets educators, teachers, counselors, and school administrators, to help them develop and improve their efficiency. It provides them with the most updated research and findings in the field of education, through seminars and workshops.Activities of Taaheel:1. Taaheel offers intensive services and special classes for children with special needs. It prepares them through Individualized Programs get included in regular classroom.2. It conducts research concerning the most efficient methods for mental, social, and emotional intelligence of children.3. Taaheel increases parents’ awareness of the necessity to address social, behavioral, and learning problems of their children. They need to be referred for early intervention before problems may get complicated.4. Taaheel is considered a training center for students of Education, Psychology, and Sociology. They join as practicum students to learn essential skills, such as: observation, counseling, rehabilitation, and teaching children with Learning Difficulties.5. Taaheel conducts monthly and quarterly seminars and workshops to address educators professional developmental needs.
